Goldfinch Soap
Of course I had to make a bird inspired soap for this collection!
For the longest time I thought that goldfinches migrate in the winter and that's why I've never seen one. I just recently learned that while they do migrate a little bit, they are definitely present here in Minnesota in the wintertime. Turns out they molt twice a year and turn olive-brown in the fall.
Who knew? Probably everyone but me!
Another fun fact is that their in-flight call sounds like they're saying potato chip.
